May 2nd 2009: Faces of Valor USA escorts wounded warriors out of Annapolis after their ride from Washington DC. We met some great young heros.

My newest friend and hero Stg. Eric Edmundson. I will never forget Stg. Eric and his family. Beth & I will be making a trip down to NC to visit Eric soon. |

Mike & I (Ted) had the honor to meet Casey Thayer who was enjoying some time out of Walter Reed with his parents. Casey was wounded Feb 11th and is already up and around. He has some more surgeries ahead but is doing really well. People like Casey allow you to realize it is great to be an American. Thank you Casey. |

Oct. 15, 2008Picnic at Fort Detrick where the General spoke to
all the young men & women, which was very moving.

Oct 15th: Went to Walter Reed to pick up 15 wounded vets in rehab and took them to Fort Detrick for a day out picnic with the Nam Knights |

Amazing young men. On the left just out of surgery a week ago and still wanted to go along for the ride. These guys are the greatest!! |

There was a band all day and plenty of food for all.

My co-chair on the first ride Ben Pope. From 3 bikes to 85, Ben who would of thought? Great Job Ben! We will have over 500 next year. |

The ride was a complete success with only 6 weeks of planning. Everyone start
signing up for next years rideit will be one to remember. |
